Xiaomi Civi 3 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra

The Chinese company preferred the new custom MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset in the Civi 3. The chipset has a portrait engine, 4000mm² stainless steel VC liquid cooling, and support for third-person shooting games at 90fps high frame mode. Additionally, the 3.1GHz octa-core chipset features 1x Arm Cortex-A78: 3.1GHz, 3x Arm Cortex-A78: 3.0GHz, 4x Arm Cortex-A55: 2.0GHz. Also, the new Civi 3 has 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage options.

One of the most significant features of the new phone is its camera system. Xiaomi Civi 3 comes with a 50-megapixel main camera with Sony IMX800 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with IMX355 sensor, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and AI sensing four soft lights on the back, while it has dual 32-megapixel selfie cameras with OIS, autofocus, and 100-degree angle on the front. Thanks to the chipset and camera system, the phone offers a high-quality photography experience.

The Xiaomi Civi 3 features a 6.55-inch (2400 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, adaptive HDR10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. On the other side, the phone has a 4,500mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging, and it runs Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box.

Xiaomi’s latest phone comes with Rose Purple, Mint Green, Adventure Gold, and Coconut Grey color options. While the Civi 3 costs CNY2,499 ($353) for the 12GB + 256GB version, it costs CNY2,699 ($381) for the 12GB + 512GB model, and CNY 2,999 ($424) for the high-end 16GB + 1TB variant. It will be on sale in China on May 31.
