Xiaomi introduced its first AI-powered smart glasses in the wearable technology field at the “Human-Vehicle-Home Ecosystem” event held on June 26. The model, announced as Xiaomi AI Glasses, was offered for sale in China with prices starting at 1999 yuan (approximately $275). The product draws attention with its numerous AI-based features that provide convenience in productivity and daily interactions.
Xiaomi AI Glasses introduced!
Xiaomi AI Glasses are designed to be lightweight, weighing only 40 grams. The model, which comes in three different frame options, has both online and physical optical adaptation support. The glasses have an integrated 12 MP resolution front camera.

Thanks to this camera, high-quality video shooting can be done from a first-person perspective. It also works compatible with video calling and live broadcast applications. The Super Xiao Ai voice assistant on the device can perform many operations with hands-free commands.
These features include taking photos, object recognition, instant translation and payment with QR code. Users can make payments with voice commands by scanning a QR code directly with the glasses. Thanks to this feature, the transaction is completed without the need for a smartphone.
The smart glasses have symmetrical stereo speakers and a five-microphone sound array. Precise sound reception can be made with bone conduction and external sound leakage is prevented. In addition, thanks to the electro-chromic lens support, the color of the lenses can be changed by touching.
In this way, users can instantly adjust the lens color of the glasses according to the ambient light. A special version with colored lenses is on sale for 2999 yuan (approximately $413). Xiaomi AI Glasses also comes with some additional software features for office use.
Thanks to the smart meeting assistant, conversations can be automatically transcribed and support 10 different languages with simultaneous translation. The glasses can also record video at 30 FPS in 2K resolution. An EIS-supported stabilization system is also offered for 10-minute videos.
On the energy side, a 263 mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery is used. The battery life is 21 hours in standby mode, 8.6 hours in music playback mode, and up to 7 hours in continuous use. 45-minute continuous recording support is also included in the strong performance on the battery side.
The device is charged via USB Type-C and can be used while charging. The international launch date for Xiaomi AI Glasses, which is currently only available in China, has not been announced. The product is available through Xiaomi Mall and authorized sales channels.
