Xiaomi’s new generation foldable phone, Mix Flip 2, was first spotted on China’s 3C certification database before its launch. With this development, clearer information about the device’s hardware features has emerged.
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is coming soon
One of the most striking features of the Mix Flip 2 will be its battery capacity. The phone will have a 5,050 mAh battery. In addition, 50W wireless fast charging support will be offered.

Thus, Xiaomi aims to offer high performance on both wired and wireless charging. These features create a significant difference in terms of energy management among devices in the form of a flip phone.
A high-level choice has also been made on the processor side of the device. Mix Flip 2 comes with Qualcomm’s new generation chipset Snapdragon 8 Elite. Thanks to this processor, the phone promises high-level performance not only in daily use but also in applications that require intensive graphics and processing power.
On the screen side, a 6.85-inch foldable OLED panel offering 1.5K resolution has been preferred. The screen has a 120Hz refresh rate and uses LTPO technology. Thanks to LTPO technology, the screen can dynamically adjust the refresh rate according to the usage scenario.
The rear camera system includes a dual-lens setup. The main camera will offer 50 megapixel resolution with optical image stabilization support. The second lens accompanying this camera is also 50 megapixel resolution and is designed for ultra-wide angle shots.
The phone’s body will be only 7.6 mm thick. This thinness stands out as a striking design detail among foldable phones. The device also has a fingerprint reader placed on the side, NFC support, and up-to-date solutions for wireless connectivity.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is expected to be introduced in the second quarter of 2025. So what do you think about this? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
