Xiaomi is one of the most active companies when it comes to updates. The company periodically discontinues update support for models that cannot run new versions from a hardware perspective. As of November 23, Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO models that have lost update support include.
Xiaomi models whose update support has ended
Xiaomi has been both praised and criticized for its update policies. Generally, the company provides software support for its smartphones for around two years. Additionally, it regularly updates the End of Life (EOL) list on its official website, which includes models that will no longer receive MIUI, Android, or security updates.
Models that have been added to Xiaomi’s EOL list will no longer receive updates, but the company leaves the door slightly open. In the event of a serious security vulnerability, unsupported devices will still receive updates.
Please note that some models may appear multiple times on the list, indicating different versions of the phone in various countries.
