Xiaomi has introduced its new budget-friendly model, the Redmi 15, to consumers in the UK market. The phone, which stands out with its massive battery, smooth display, and all the essential features expected from an affordable daily use device, has been revealed. Here are the Redmi 15 features and details.
The Redmi 15 has launched as a budget-friendly model
While the Chinese tech giant touted the Redmi 15 as an entry-level model, there are some hardware differences to maintain this affordable price tag. Having introduced a 5G version powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor in the Indian market, Xiaomi has now brought a 4G model powered by a lower-spec Snapdragon 685 to the UK. This processor is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

One of the phone’s most prominent features is its massive 7,000mAh battery. This battery is claimed to support 33W wired fast charging and 18W reverse charging, providing users with an uninterrupted experience.
The Redmi 15 features a 6.9-inch IPS LCD panel. Boasting a 1080p resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, this display stands out for both its smoothness and brightness (850 nits peak brightness). It’s also supported by technologies like DC Dimming and Wet Touch Technology 2.0, which can detect even wet finger touches.
The camera features a 50-megapixel main sensor on the rear, and an 8-megapixel lens on the front for selfies and video calls. Other key features of the Redmi 15 include hybrid dual-SIM support with a microSD card slot for storage expansion, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC.
Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 15 in the UK for £159 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version, and £189 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version. It’s not yet known whether the device will be available in the Turkish market.
