Xiaomi SU7 interior design revealed
Some details of the Xiaomi SU7, which was introduced in December, were kept secret. New details about the car, which is said to start deliveries in the first half of 2024, have been shared.
The first official images of the interior design of the SU7, along with design progress, have been released. Xiaomi has incorporated physical buttons into the interior design, taking feedback from electric car owners into account.
In the latest image, a flat-bottomed steering wheel is featured, with two circular control devices on both sides of the touch buttons and the steering wheel. The center console, reminiscent of Nio and XPeng design language, houses a screen horizontally positioned similar to Tesla models.
Below the driver’s right hand, there are buttons for climate control, driving height, and rear wing spoiler adjustment. The vehicle, equipped with keyless start feature, has the start/stop button positioned at the top.
With a driver-focused interior, sport seats offering a low seating position, and a low front panel providing a wide field of view with curved front fenders, the SU7 seems suitable for sporty use. Along with the unveiling of the interior, Xiaomi also shared another video from the winter testing sessions in northern China.
The company is ramping up production to ensure that potential buyers on the waiting list are not delayed. Unofficial sources claim that the entry-level 295-horsepower model of the SU7 will start at 300,000 Yuan (39,100 euros), while the 673-horsepower Max version will start at 361,400 Yuan (47,300 euros).
