Xiaomi recently introduced the Redmi K60 Ultra, a price-performance monster, at an event in China. Although it is only available in China for now, a global launch is on the way. According to a new leak, Xiaomi will call the Redmi K60 Ultra the Xiaomi 13T Pro and launch it globally on September 1.
Xiaomi 13T Pro to launch in Europe first, priced at $495
The Xiaomi 13T Pro is set to enter the global market as a version of the Redmi K60 Ultra that went on sale in China. Although it will retain features such as 24GB RAM and MediaTek Dimensity 9200+, some differences are expected on the camera side.
According to leaks on Twitter, the Xiaomi 13T Pro will feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50 Megapixel Sony IMX707 main, 50 Megapixel Omnivision OV50D telephoto and 13 Megapixel Omnivision OV13B ultra-wide sensor. This differs from the 50MP IMX800 main, 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP portrait lens configuration on the Redmi K60 Ultra.
The rest of the Xiaomi 13T Pro’s specifications overlap with the Redmi K60 Ultra. Accordingly, the device will be available with a 6.7-inch OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, up to 24GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. It will also be powered by a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
It should also be noted that the front camera will be the same on both devices. Xiaomi 13T Pro is expected to run Android 14-based MIUI 14 out of the box. However, Xiaomi said during the launch that the K60 Ultra will be the first to receive MIUI 15. We will also see if this will be the case for the 13T Pro.
Pricing and sales details for the 13T Pro’s global launch on September 1 are still unclear. However, the phone is rumored to launch in Europe first. The 24 GB RAM + 1 TB version of the K60 Ultra retails for $495.
