Xiaomi has completed its work on the new flagship phone, the Turbo 4 Pro. The countdown had begun for the launch of the phone with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, but the launch date has been postponed due to an unexpected development.
Redmi Turbo 4 Pro Launch Postponed
Xiaomi, one of the first brands to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor developed for affordable flagship phones, had initially planned to launch its new smartphone, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, on April 17.
However, it is claimed that this plan changed due to a tragic traffic accident that occurred on March 29 in Tongling city, Anhui province. According to reliable sources, after an accident involving Xiaomi’s SU7 electric car that resulted in the loss of three young women’s lives, the company decided to postpone the launch of its new phone. It is currently unknown when the smartphone will be launched.
Looking at the specifications of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, we can say that it will come with a 6.83-inch 1.5K resolution OLED LTPS display. As mentioned above, the model will use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. The product will feature a 7,550 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, a 50-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel auxiliary sensor. The smartphone with a metal frame design will feature a short-focus optical fingerprint sensor and will offer water and dust resistance with IP68/69 certification.
