Yandex Turkey has introduced a comprehensive summer update to Yandex Search, the core service of its ecosystem. With this update, users are now able to plan their trips and manage their travel budgets more easily: Yandex Travel and Yandex Finance.
With these updates, Yandex Turkey has enhanced its AI-powered information engine, Yazeka, with a significant innovation. Reasoning Mode has been added to Yazeka, allowing users to create to-do lists, make instant comparisons, and explore various topics more in-depth. The company has also launched Yandex Answer, a new answering service based on the same technology.

Among other innovations to its service offerings, Yandex Weather has added a precipitation map to weather forecasts, making them more accurate and detailed. Yandex Go has expanded its coverage across Turkey, launching in Ankara after Izmir and Antalya.
Yandex Turkey aims to make users’ lives easier with innovative technologies, making all processes—from travel planning and financial management to weather forecasts and transportation services—faster, more practical, and more reliable.
Travel and Finance: Easy Planning, Practical Tracking
Yandex Travel, the new travel service, makes it easier for users to plan their holidays and business trips. It offers the ability to compare flight and hotel options from different travel agencies and enhances the user experience with reliable reviews from Yandex Maps. The service integrates directly with Yandex Search, responding to natural queries like “hotel prices” or “flight tickets.” Users are directed to relevant partner websites to complete their reservations. Yandex Finance, on the other hand, offers exchange rates, stocks, and precious metals prices on a single screen. Data on BIST, NASDAQ, and more than 90 cryptocurrencies is shared in real time. Furthermore, thanks to the integration with Yandex Agenda, economic news is also integrated into the service, transforming complex financial information into a format everyone can easily understand.
Reasoning Mode and Yandex Answer: Deeper Access to Information
Yazeka has rapidly evolved in recent months with numerous new features, including dialogue capabilities, up-to-date data processing capabilities, and neural responses enriched with audiovisual content. This allows it to provide faster and more comprehensive answers. As part of this development, Yandex Turkey has launched Reasoning Mode. This feature provides users with more detailed and structured explanations for academic, scientific research, and everyday information searches. The Reasoning button is available for all queries. This feature is particularly prominent for complex questions requiring detailed information. For example, users planning a vacation in Turkey can receive step-by-step travel plan suggestions.
Yandex Answers, on the other hand, contains answers to more than 3 million practical questions prepared through Yazeka. Content covering diverse areas such as law, medicine, gastronomy, and entertainment is curated with a focus on contextuality, cultural sensitivity, and reliable sourcing.
More Precise Weather Data with Precipitation Map
Yandex Weather is available in the Yandex Search app, on yandex.com.tr, and as a standalone service. The newly added precipitation map feature allows users to make more accurate daily plans. This map displays current precipitation information and provides a ten-minute forecast over a two-hour period. This feature makes planning a variety of activities, from fishing to an evening out on the town, easier. The service runs on Meteum technology, which combines radar and satellite data with machine learning. Users can also access temperature, pressure, and wind maps.
Yandex Go: A Superapp Experience in More Cities
Yandex Go launched in Ankara earlier this summer, expanding its reach across Turkey. Combining ride-hailing, public transportation, and delivery services on a single platform, Yandex Go enriches the user experience with its Superapp approach. Yandex Delivery, currently in trial phases in Izmir, provides real-time package tracking for couriers and users with smart routing systems.
In Istanbul, Yandex Go operates as a service officially registered with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, allowing it to legally offer digital taxi hailing services. The company continues to enhance its transportation and logistics experience in Turkey by collaborating with local businesses.
Yandex Turkey General Manager and Yandex Search International CEO Alexander Popovskiy commented on the summer updates to the ecosystem: “We aim to be a long-term partner in Turkey and develop our most advanced technologies locally. To this end, we are developing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. We’ve created a $400 million investment plan, placing special emphasis on .
