A claim that emerged last week revealed that the Asus Zenfone brand will be terminated. It was even said that the company, which disbanded the Zenfone team in this context, will direct all its focus on smartphone studies to ROG Phone. However, according to the statement from Asus, the claim that the Zenfone series will be terminated is not true.
Asus: Zenfone 10 will not be the last model of the series
In a short statement today, Asus denied the rumors about the Zenfone series. It underlined that the rumors that Zenfone 10 will be the last model of the series are unfounded.
“We would like to refute rumors that the Zenfone 10 will be the last generation of the series and that the Zenfone product line will be shut down. These rumors are not true. We will continue to work on two main product lines for the phone: ROG Phone and Zenfone.”
The Zenfone series has become one of the cornerstone brands of Asus’ smartphone segment since it was introduced in 2014. The Zenfone 10 model was a compact model that went on sale in recent months.
It should be noted that the Zenfone brand is not officially on sale in our country. You can buy models such as ROG Phone and Zenfone from third-party suppliers through importer warranty.
With the rumors denied, it seems that Asus has no plans to abandon the Zenfone brand. The company is expected to introduce new flagship-level models in 2024.
