X Blue subscribers can now post up to 2 hours of 1080p videos
The platform is trying to make everyone premium subscribers to the X. Although non-premium users can use most of the social media brand, the Blue subscribers can access more features. Now, the company has decided to announce more improvements for Premium subscribers. According to the release notes, you can now post up to 2 hours of 1080p or 3 hours of 720p videos if you’re a Premium subscriber.
If you would like to experience all the new and existing features, you can subscribe to the X Premium (Twitter Blue) service for $8 per month on the web browser. However, you have to pay $11 per month if you want to subscribe to the platform on your iOS or Android device.
Here are X’s new video and media improvements:
- Long videos—Premium subscribers can post up to 2h of 1080p or 3h of 720p
- Media studio (http://studio.x.com) is now available to all X Premium subscribers
- Ability to download videos from your timeline to your camera roll (X Premium) & enable/disable the download option for videos you post
- Auto-captioning of popular videos
- AirPlay’s support to stream videos to your TV
- Pic in pic playback to allow you to watch videos while scrolling your timeline or other apps
- Video controls (playback speed, double tap to fast-forward/jump back)
- Improved live broadcasting quality from mobile
- Immersive video player in Android and iOS—just swipe up for the next video
- Speak in & co-host a Space on web
- Support for millions of participants on Spaces
