Last week, the release date for the game was announced as May 26, 2026, and just yesterday, the second trailer was released. Along with this development, the PlayStation Store page for the game has also gone live. Here are the details!

Players can now access GTA 6’s PlayStation Store page and add the game to their wishlists. However, a quick glance at the page shows that pricing and system requirements are not listed yet — at least for now.

GTA 6 Story and Other Known Details

• Main Characters: The story revolves around a female protagonist named Lucia and, presumably, her male partner Jason. This marks the first time in GTA history that a woman takes the lead as a main character.
• Return to Vice City: The game is set in the fictional city of Vice City — first introduced in 2002’s GTA: Vice City — and the surrounding Leonida state, a region inspired by Florida.
• Crime, Love, and Chaos: In the earlier trailer, Lucia is seen in prison. She later appears in scenes committing crimes and robberies alongside her partner, suggesting a “Bonnie and Clyde”-style crime-romance narrative.
• Modern Themes: Social media, viral videos, TikTok-style content, influencer culture, and satirical takes on today’s society seem to play a major role in GTA 6. The first trailer already heavily hinted at these elements.

How Much Will GTA 6 Cost?

Unfortunately, Rockstar Games has not shared any official pricing information yet. Even the game’s release date was uncertain until recently. While there were earlier rumors of a $100 base price, more recent reports suggest the following possible price range. Still, it’s important to wait for an official announcement from Rockstar:

• Standard Edition: $70 – $90
• Deluxe Edition: $100 – $120
• Collector’s Edition: $150 or more
