Microsoft has brought Xbox Copilot, its AI-powered gaming assistant, to Windows PC. The system, which operates via Xbox Game Bar, is currently being tested by users who are members of the Xbox Insider program. Previously available on the Xbox mobile app, Copilot is now actively deployed in PC games.
Copilot Launched for PC Games
Copilot can analyze the game in real time. It offers tips, strategic guidance, and personalized recommendations based on the player’s in-game progress, achievement history, and other data from their Xbox account.

The system functions like a personalized AI gaming coach. The experience isn’t limited to text. The new PC version also includes voice command support. Thanks to Voice Mode, players can communicate with Copilot without leaving the game screen. This allows for seamless guidance during gameplay.
Copilot not only responds by speaking, but can also analyze screenshots and provide visually supported clues. This feature provides a better understanding of the player’s in-game situation, allowing for more accurate assistance. This detailed visual support significantly simplifies the experience, especially in games with complex gameplay mechanics.
Microsoft confirmed that Copilot will soon be coming to Xbox-compatible portable devices. Integration is also planned for models like the ROG Ally and ROG Ally X. It’s also stated that the AI-powered assistant will be further personalized with coaching systems tailored to competitive games and will enhance its strategy development capabilities to suit your playstyle.
Xbox Copilot is currently only available to Xbox Insiders, but is expected to be available to all Windows users after a testing period. With this development, Microsoft is moving towards positioning Copilot not as a mere additional feature but as a core component of the Xbox ecosystem.
