Leaks emerge almost every week for Xiaomi’s highly anticipated flagship series, the Xiaomi 16. Last week, it was claimed that the new series would be unveiled with three models: the Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro, and Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini. Expected to launch towards the end of September, the series has now also been rumored to feature a new display for the Xiaomi 16 Pro. Here are the details.
Xiaomi 16 Pro Screen Details Leaked
According to leaks, the 16 Pro will feature a 6.8-inch flat OLED LTPO panel with a 2K resolution. The claims also suggest the display will have a balanced four-sided display with ultra-narrow bezels. The display will also feature new eye-protection technology that can be both bright and soft.

Last year’s Xiaomi 15 Pro model, introduced last year, shows a 6.73-inch OLED panel with a curved design. This year, it’s rumored to have a larger display. The leak suggests the new device will feature a triple rear camera, claiming it will offer a better photography experience than iPhones.
According to reports, the camera setup could include a 50-megapixel SmartSens 590 main camera with macro support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. On the front, a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus support is also expected. Under the hood, the device is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset and a battery with a capacity of approximately 7,500 mAh, supporting 100W charging.
Rumors suggest the Xiaomi 16 series could also include a Pro Max model. However, it’s not yet clear how this model will differ from the 16 Pro. The 16 series will also include the Xiaomi 16 Ultra, which is expected to launch in the first half of 2026.
