Chinese smartphone manufacturer iQOO has confirmed the most critical detail about its highly anticipated new flagship, the iQOO 15. The device will launch with Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful processor. Here are all the leaked and officially announced specifications of the iQOO 15.
iQOO 15 Will Come with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
According to the official announcement from the brand, the iQOO 15 will be powered by the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 flagship chipset. This comes as no surprise, but rather demonstrates that the brand continues its tradition of opting for Qualcomm’s most powerful silicon in its previous high-end models.

This performance beast will be standard not only in the Chinese model but also in global markets. iQOO has officially confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC will be used specifically for the Indian model. This dispels any potential speculation that the devices for the international market will feature a different chipset.
A significant software change is also expected with the iQOO 15. The brand confirmed that global versions of the device will ship with OriginOS 6, which has been exclusive to China for many years. This decision means it will offer a new user experience instead of Funtouch OS. Similarly, international versions of the upcoming vivo X300 series are also expected to come with OriginOS.
In addition to its performance, the iQOO 15 is also equipped with high-end multimedia and gaming features. The smartphone will feature a 6.85-inch QHD display with an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, meeting the expectations of gamers.
Under the hood, the device will feature the Q3 gaming chip, specifically designed to support gaming performance. Mobile photography capabilities include a periscope telephoto camera.
The iQOO 15’s most striking cosmetic feature is its color-changing back cover, which will give the device a dynamic and customizable look. The official launch date for the iQOO 15 is expected to be announced very soon. The new flagship is poised to take the top spot in the mid-range segment with its powerful hardware and revamped software experience.
