Vivo has finally officially confirmed the release date for its highly anticipated new smartphone, the Vivo V60e, in India. The company shared promotional materials, hinting at the device’s design and some key features, while leaks filled in the remaining technical details. This device, expected to be positioned as a more affordable option compared to the Vivo V60, is highly anticipated. Here are the details.
Vivo V60e to be launched on October 7
According to the announcement, the Vivo V60e will be officially launched in India on October 7. The phone is expected to start at Rs 30,000, or under $360. This price range makes the device a contender in the upper-mid-range segment.

The device will be available in eye-catching Noble Gold and Elite Purple colors. Storage options are expected to include 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and a top-tier 12GB+256GB.
The Vivo V60e aims to make the flagship experience more accessible with its hardware specifications. It is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset and come with up to 12GB of RAM.
The phone will ship with Android 15, layered with the Funtouch OS 15 interface. Vivo guarantees three years of operating system upgrades and five years of security patches for this model.
The V60e boasts a photography-focused main camera on the rear, featuring a 200-megapixel main camera sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, there’s a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus support.
The phone packs a massive 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. It also boasts IP68/69 certification for water and dust resistance. Vivo is also reportedly preparing to launch the Vivo Y500 Pro in China later this year. This phone is rumored to feature a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 sensor and could be a rebranded version of the Vivo V60e for some markets.
