The realm of Enshrouded just got wetter and far more dangerous. Wake of the Water, the survival RPG’s biggest update yet, is now live, bringing dynamic voxel-based water, amphibious enemies, aquatic combat, and a sprawling new biome that changes the way you explore, fight, and survive in Embervale.
Wake of the Water adds fully interactive water systems

At the heart of the update is Veilwater Basin, a vast new biome filled with:
- Hidden ruins and treasure chests
- Gold ore and aquamarine deposits
- Passive wildlife like capybaras and wildbeast crabs
- New settlements inhabited by lizard-like NPCs
Every corner of the biome adds verticality and depth literally. Whether you’re grappling through underwater caverns or uncovering submerged ruins, Wake of the Water pushes Enshrouded’s exploration to bold new heights.
New systems: Fishing, base upgrades, and water-powered crafting
A new fishing mechanic brings a rewarding layer to survival. With five rod tiers, dynamic bait like frogs and fireflies, and epic-tier fish, your skill with the rod leads to serious payoffs legendary weapons, trophies, and buffs that boost your stamina and dive time.
Meanwhile, you can now outfit your base with rain barrels, water dispensers, and hydropowered mills, creating entire production pipelines fueled by Embervale’s new water systems.
Combat overhauls and over 60 new weapons
Don’t let the fishing fool you combat’s getting deadlier, too. The update adds:
- 60+ new weapons, including a new greatsword class
- 7 new armor sets
- 10+ new fighting skills
- Combat rebalancing, including elemental damage and gem slot tuning
- An improved fighting UI
These changes aren’t optional. The Drak and their allies aren’t just aesthetic they’re lethal, and you’ll need every new skill and blade to keep up.
