Google is determined to transform its AI assistant Gemini from a simple chatbot into a personal assistant that touches every aspect of our lives. Code found in the latest beta version of the Android app (v16.50.55.sa.arm64) shows a complete redesign of the “My Stuff” section, the app’s memory, and that shopping integration is on the way.
Gemini will now know what you’ve bought
In the current version, everything you create with Gemini (images, text, code) sits in a cluttered mess in the My Stuff section. However, with the leaked Gemini My Stuff update, Google is categorizing this area into Media, Documents, and most importantly, “Purchased.”

The “Purchased” tab, in particular, signals a major change. Google’s agent-based shopping experience, introduced last month, which can research and order products for you, appears to be managed through this tab. In other words, you’ll be able to track the products you’ve ordered using AI, again through AI.
The change isn’t limited to categories. The text input box, which users constantly interact with, is also undergoing a design revolution. Instead of the card design that was attached to the bottom of the screen, a completely independent, modern box design that floats in the air is being tested.
To enrich the user experience (UX), Google is adding haptic feedback to the application. Now, when you send a command to Gemini or when it finishes preparing a response, your phone will vibrate slightly to notify you. This way, you’ll be able to physically feel the status of the process even if you’re not looking at the screen.
So, What do you think about Google’s plan to turn Gemini into a “shopping assistant”? Would you entrust your credit card to AI? Share your thoughts in the comments!
