Motorola is preparing to launch a new flagship line, and its name is now confirmed: Motorola Signature. Leaks and a teaser page on Flipkart India suggest that the device is just days away from its official unveiling—and with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 under the hood, it’s already turning heads.

The Signature has been spotted on Geekbench, and the listing makes it clear: this phone means business. It packs Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, built with two high-performance prime cores running up to 3.8GHz, and six performance cores clocked at 3.32GHz.

At least one variant will ship with 16GB of RAM, placing the Motorola Signature firmly in premium flagship territory. This setup is in line with competitors like the Galaxy S25 Ultra and OnePlus 13 Pro.

Rumors point to a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display, with support for a stylus, which could position the Signature as a potential alternative to Samsung’s Galaxy Ultra line. That combination—flagship chip, large high-refresh OLED, and pen input—puts Motorola in a spot it hasn’t occupied in years.

Design-wise, leaked renders suggest something close to the Motorola Edge 70, but with a larger camera module. The teaser doesn’t confirm the hardware specs yet, but sources hint at a triple 50MP camera setup, possibly covering wide, ultrawide, and telephoto lenses.

    • Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC
    • 16GB RAM
    • 6.7-inch OLED, 120Hz refresh rate
    • Stylus support
    • Triple 50MP camera system
    • Flagship-tier design, large rear camera module

While the official launch date hasn’t been confirmed, all signs point to an announcement in the next few days. Motorola has teased that more details will drop on December 28, and the full reveal could happen during CES 2026 in early January.

This marks a rare moment where Motorola is positioning a device directly against the likes of Samsung and Google in the premium Android space. If the Signature lives up to its name, it may be Motorola’s most aggressive flagship play in years.
