AMD is preparing to launch the Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card, developed with the new RDNA 4 architecture, soon. ASUS’ RX 9060 XT models, which appeared on the South Korean Broadcasting Agency (RRA), confirmed that the card will come in different variations. The RX 9060 XT models, which are included in ASUS’ DUAL, PRIME and TUF series, also revealed the technical details of the card.
Radeon RX 9060 XT coming soon
The RX 9060 XT will be based on the Navi 44 GPU and will offer two different GDDR6 memory configurations: 8 GB and 16 GB. Both models will have a memory speed of 20 Gbps over a 128-bit memory bus. While this structure does not create a difference in bandwidth between the two models, the 16 GB version may provide an advantage by meeting the need for high VRAM in modern games.

AMD’s strategy is aimed directly at competing with the RTX 5060 series. Considering that NVIDIA offers similar VRAM configurations, competition is expected to intensify in this area.
On the power consumption side, it is stated that the RX 9060 XT will be fed by a single 8-pin power connector and will have a TDP value ranging from 190W to 225W. These values show that the card will be ambitious in terms of energy efficiency and performance balance.
Information about the release date indicates that the RX 9060 XT will be released in the second quarter of 2025. We estimate that NVIDIA’s RTX 5060 models will also be on the market during the same period.
Following the success it achieved with the Radeon RX 9070 series, AMD is preparing to further intensify the competition in the mid-segment with the RX 9060 series. The new series will be a remarkable alternative especially for gamers and price-performance-oriented users.
