The Fallout series made a big impact with the series adaptation by Amazon. Even Fallout 4 and Fallout 76, which debuted years ago, broke sales records. Fallout: London, developed as a Fallout 4 mod, continues to arouse curiosity. The developers of the mod made important statements.
Green light for Fallout: London
The developers of the Fallout: London mod have announced that the project is ready for release. Almost as expansive as a new game, the mod aims to offer a new post-apocalyptic adventure in iconic London neighborhoods.
Work on the mod actually started a few years ago. The first demo version was released in 2020 and the London experience was a big hit with players. Of course, the mod will work separately from Fallout 4. So you won’t need to install Fallout 4 to play.
The mod’s development team, FOLON, announced that they have reached an agreement with GOG for London distribution. In fact, according to the team, they are waiting for the final green light from GOG before releasing the mod.
Fallout: London will feature a large open-world map roughly the size of Fallout 4’s Commonwealth region. Players will explore popular areas of London and face new quests, characters and threats.
Names such as Neil Newbon, who voiced the popular character Astarion in Baldur’s Gate 3, are also supporting the mod. Also, please note that since it’s a mod version, it will only be available on PC, so it won’t be playable on console.
