In response, a free update has been released today, introducing a highly anticipated feature: Photo Mode. This update also includes new cosmetics and other exciting additions to enhance the game experience.

Whether exploring the iconic halls of Hogwarts or the scenic Scottish Highlands, players can now use a variety of camera tools to get the perfect shot and remember their adventures in the wizarding world.

To access Photo Mode, players need to pause the game and tap the Square button. When ready to capture a screenshot, they can hide the Photo Mode UI with the Square button and press the Create button on the DualSense wireless controller or the Share button on the DualShock 4 controller.

Additional update features for Hogwarts Legacy
Talent point reset
Players now have the option to reset their talent points from the Field Guide menu, allowing for experimentation with different playstyles. This can be done either by fully resetting all allocated talent points or individually undoing specific points. Each reset costs 200 gold.
New cosmetics
The update also introduces new cosmetic items to Hogwarts Legacy, inspired by iconic elements from the wizarding world:
- Azkaban Coat and Azkaban Prisoner’s Outfit: Inspired by one of the wizarding world’s most famous Azkaban escapees.
- The Glasses That Lived: Circular taped spectacles, previously featured in an Easter Egg video.

Several bug fixes and optimizations have been implemented to enhance the overall player experience.
