How to reset and change your password on TikTok

TikTok is a social media video-sharing application that is very popular today. Most people, regardless of age, have TikTok installed on their phones. So what can you do if you forgot the password for your TikTok account or just want to change it? We have explained both how to change the password of your account and how to reset your password for you.

How to reset your password on TikTok

Once users log in to TikTok with a username and password, their account remains open unless they log out. When too much time passes, users can forget their password. When you forget your password, the only way to recover your account is to reset your password. Here is how it is done:

• First, log in to the application.
• After logging in to the application, press the “Register” button.
• Press the “Login” section at the bottom of the page that will appear on the screen.
• Click on the “Use Phone / E-Mail / Username” option.
• Click on the E-Mail/User Name option.
• Click on the “Forgot Password?” button and reset the e-mail or phone number password.
• A message is sent to whichever of the e-mail and phone number is selected.
• The password reset process is completed by clicking the link on the incoming message.
• After resetting the password, a new password is set.

How to change it

If you have not forgotten your password but want to change it, either for security reasons or because you no longer like your password, you can change your password by following the method below.

• Login to the profile.
• Click on the three dots icon in the upper right corner.
• Select “Privacy and Settings”.
• Select “Manage Account”, “Password”.
• Enter the current password and the new password and click on the “Confirm” button.
