    Luxeed, a joint venture between Huawei and Chery, has introduced the R7 electric coupe SUV to the Chinese market. The new model is the second vehicle in Luxeed’s product range after the S7 sedan. Accordingly, it seems to strengthen the brand’s position in the electric vehicle market with its ambitious price and high-end features.

    The Luxeed R7 is available in three trim levels: Pro, Max and Ultra. The entry-level R7 Pro has a starting price of $37,600 and offers a range of 667 km. The top-level R7 Ultra starts at $48,900 and promises a range of 736 km with all-wheel drive.

    The model will appeal to the coupe SUV segment; It has a length of 4956 mm and a wheelbase of 2950 mm. Its panoramic sunroof and 192-line LiDAR sensor are among the noteworthy features. 20/21-inch alloy wheels complete the sporty look of the vehicle.

    The R7, which comes with Huawei HarmonyOS system, is positioned as an electric luxury coupe SUV. Huawei and Chery’s new automotive initiative will address the Chinese market in the first phase.
