Huawei continues to expand its presence in the automotive sector. The new Luxeed R7 models, developed under the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, established in partnership with Chery, were officially introduced in China. The vehicles, which are launched in two different versions, Max and Ultra, attract attention with both their hybrid infrastructure and high range.

Both models feature a four-cylinder gasoline engine in addition to the electric system. In addition, thanks to the range extender unit, long journeys are possible without relying on battery capacity alone.

The Max version offers a total range of 1,673 kilometers with a full charge and full fuel. The Ultra model, on the other hand, provides 510 horsepower with the four-wheel drive system and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. The total range of this version was announced as 1,551 kilometers.
The chassis of the Luxeed R7 was built on Huawei’s Turing Intelligent Chassis system. The front section has a double wishbone suspension system and the rear section has a multi-link suspension system. The vehicle’s roadholding and safety performance also stand out with its brake system that can completely stop in just 35.6 meters from a speed of 100 km/h.

Huawei’s new generation Qiankun ADS 3.0 technology has been activated in autonomous driving systems. The vehicle offers fully automatic driving in urban and highway conditions. This system is supported by a 192-line LiDAR sensor, 3 mm wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors and 11 cameras.
Luxeed R7, which also has a futuristic design, draws attention with its door handles embedded in the body, glass roof, panoramic structure and double LED light bar. A total of 8 different color options are available, including Tourmaline Blue
Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4 operating system is used in the interior. There is a 15.6-inch multimedia screen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel in the vehicle. The sound system consists of 17 speakers and can reach up to 1000W power.
