Xiaomi aims to enhance system performance with the HyperOS 1.0.45.0 update. Significant improvements have been made, especially in the app launch speed. Here are the main updates in this area:
- The launch animation strategy was optimized to increase app launch speed.
- Thanks to improvements in the app launch process, app opening times have been shortened.
- Issues causing crashes in certain games have been resolved.
Free Window Mode
The HyperOS 1.0.45.0 update also brings significant improvements to the free window mode. Issues encountered by users during horizontal and vertical screen transitions have been addressed:
- The issue where video apps were not displayed correctly in small window mode during horizontal and vertical screen transitions has been resolved. Now, videos can be played smoothly in both modes.
- Problems related to mini window sizes in some game scenarios have been corrected.
CarWith Customization Options
One of the most striking innovations in this update is the customization options introduced for the CarWith feature. CarWith is an interface provided by Xiaomi for in-car information and entertainment systems. With this update, it has become much more personalized:
- New visual experience options have been added for the CarWith interface. These innovations include six redesigned in-car interfaces in different horizontal and vertical sizes, a new map card, a music card, and a redesigned dialogue window for Xiao AI (Xiaomi’s smart assistant).
- Users can now make the CarWith interface more personal. They can change in-car wallpapers, adjust background effects, customize card orders, and add new widgets.
- The navigation experience in CarWith has also been updated. Map navigation can now be displayed in full screen, and a new navigation capsule has been added.
In addition to these major updates, the HyperOS 1.0.45.0 update includes various fixes and minor improvements. For example, issues with subscriptions for natural disaster alerts have been resolved.
A bug that caused the background to turn completely black during long screenshots taken during global searches has been fixed. This fix will improve users’ search experience. A key has been added for the lock screen editing function, allowing users to choose whether or not to enter lock screen editing mode when they long-press the lock screen.
