Microsoft is testing new Xbox Game Pass Family Plan

Microsoft is updating its gaming cloud platform, Xbox Game Pass. The company now accepts the claims which are about the new Xbox Game Pass Family & Friends plan. Microsoft announced officially, that it is testing a new family tier in Ireland and Colombia. It also announced the details about the Xbox Game Pass family and friend subscription plan.

The subscribers will be able to share the account with not only their family members but also with friends who are in the same country. The new subscription plan will allow users to share with up to four other friends or family members according to Microsoft.

The company is now testing the new Xbox subscription plan in just Ireland and Colombia. Microsoft says in a FAQ, “Currently we are piloting this plan in Colombia and the Republic of Ireland. Future countries/regions might be added in the next months.”

While the prices of the new game pass plan are €21.99 per month in Ireland, and 49,900 COP in Colombia, Microsoft hasn’t announced pricing for the rest of Europe, the UK, or the US yet. The current personal Ultimate subscription price is €12.99 per month, and the family plan could be more reasonable for users.

Microsoft is testing Xbox Game Pass family

Microsoft currently offers Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass for $9.99 per month, and you can upgrade it to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $14.99 to unlock all the experiences.
