Disney, one of the leading companies in the world of cinema, brings together both traditional entertainment and modern viewing habits with its digital streaming platforms Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+. Disney+, which gathers the content of giant brands such as Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars and National Geographic under a single roof, offers a wide library that appeals to viewers of all age groups. So how many users are these platforms under the roof of Disney? The company announced.
Number of monthly active users of Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+
Disney announced that its digital streaming platforms (Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+) have 157 million monthly active users according to data from the last six months. 112 million of these members live in the United States.
Netflix, Disney’s biggest competitor, announced in November that it has 70 million monthly active users. However, there is an important point to consider here. So much so that Disney announces the total number of its three separate platforms (Disney +, Hulu, ESPN +).
So in fact, while Netflix competes with three platforms, Disney faces a single platform. If Disney had announced the number of users of each platform separately, perhaps it could be seen that Netflix was the leader.
