Samsung is rapidly rolling out the One UI 7 update. However, this also indicates that the end of software support is approaching for some smartphones. According to recent reports, One UI 7 will be the last major update for several Galaxy A series devices.
One UI 7 Will Be the Final Major Update for the Galaxy A14 and Galaxy A14 5G
As known, the One UI 7 update was recently released for the Galaxy S21, Z Flip3, and Z Fold3 models. This was the final major operating system update for these devices. According to new information, the Galaxy A14 and Galaxy A14 5G models will join this list in June.
Launched in 2023 with Android 13, the Galaxy A14 and A14 5G received a promise of two major Android updates: Android 14 and 15. This means that One UI 7 will be the final major update for these devices. From now on, they will continue to receive security patches on a quarterly or biannual basis.
