Steam, which has recently drawn attention with its promotional campaigns, is now making headlines with a limited-time free game. The platform has temporarily made a popular game worth $11.99 available for free.
Pankapu is Free for a Limited Time on Steam
Steam has made the game Pankapu, released in 2016, free to play until the evening of December 18. Normally priced at $11.99, the game can be played without any charge until the specified date.
The game’s Steam description reads as follows:
“Embark on a neo-retro adventure with Pankapu, a narrative action-platformer that captures the spirit of 90s platformers in a whimsical world. Pankapu tells the story of Djaha’rell, a child troubled by a tragic event, through his dreams. Enhance your abilities, discover new powers, and unlock Shields in real-time to fight for the safety of your land as the Dreamkeeper.
The game is told like children’s fables, split into two layers: the epic and pure story of Pankapu, and the dark and tragic reality of Djaha’rell’s life in the real world.”
As a 2D platformer, Pankapu won’t strain your system. According to its system requirements, the game only needs 1 GB of RAM.
