Filming for season 2 of HBO’s The Last of Us continues apace, but not for every actor. The story of Joel Miller, played by season 1’s lead actor Pedro Pascal, has been completed in the series. The Last of Us season 2 has wrapped filming for Pedro Pascal, who plays Joel.
Pascal has completed filming The Last of Us season 2, according to an industry source. Season 2 began filming in February this year. The fact that Pascal finished filming in such a short period of time brings only one thing to the minds of the actors.

In The Last of Us Part II, players will remember that Abby Anderson’s character killed Joel with a golf club at the very beginning of the game. The story of The Last of Us season 2 is based on this plotline, which is why Pascal finished filming early.
The series will finish filming in August and will debut between March and April 2025. The cast of the series is largely complete.
