The accidental upload to Pokemon GO’s Brazilian Twitter account might have revealed Bellsprout as the featured Pokemon for April 2024’s Community Day. Typically, the game offers various events for players to catch their favorite Pokemon, with Community Days being a popular recurring event where specific Pokemon are featured, often with increased chances to find Shiny versions. While the Community Day Classic for April has already been confirmed to spotlight Bagon, it seems that Bellsprout could be the star of the main Community Day event this month.
Pokemon GO’s April 2024 Community Day accidentally revealed
A brief video uploaded to Pokemon GO’s Brazilian account showed a Bellsprout’s leaf protruding from tall grass, fading into the Community Day logo, and playing Bellsprout’s cry. Although the video was swiftly taken down, fans managed to save it before removal, suggesting Bellsprout’s appearance for April’s event.
If Bellsprout indeed becomes the featured Pokemon, it wouldn’t be the first time a creature from the original Pokemon region has been showcased this year. Previous Community Days included Chansey and Porygon, while the ongoing World of Wonders season introduced players to Shadow Mewtwo. The April 2024 Community Day event is expected to take place on April 20.
In addition to the Community Day events, April in Pokemon GO promises a packed schedule with the “Bug Out” event starting on April 12, featuring increased Bug Pokemon spawns and a Mega Heracross Raid Hour. Towards the end of the month, the “Sustainability Week” event will celebrate Earth Day, providing players with more opportunities to engage in various activities and catch Pokemon.
