ZTE’s Nubia brand continues to unveil gaming-focused models, and the Chinese brand introduced the Red Magic 9 Pro family yesterday, attracting attention with its technical specifications and unique design. According to the latest information, the Red Magic 9 Pro will soon be available globally.
Red Magic 9 Pro’s global arrival date
According to the latest announcement on the Red Magic global website, the global launch of the Red Magic 9 Pro is set for December 18. Furthermore, there won’t be any technical or design differences between the Chinese and global versions of the smartphone.
The Red Magic 9 Pro and Pro+ models share similar technical specifications with a few differences. There is no distinction in their designs either. One notable feature is the absence of a camera bump on the back, presenting a flat panel. Additionally, the devices feature stylish patterns and logos, indicating their status as gaming phones.
Powering these smartphones is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Qualcomm continues its collaboration with TSMC for the new processor introduced last month, manufactured using 4 nm technology. The processor includes 1 ARM Cortex-X4 core at 3.3 GHz, 3 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2 GHz, 2 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.0 GHz, and 2 ARM Cortex-A520 cores at 2.3 GHz. The new chip also features the Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support.
