Samsung has released the expected update for another model!

The last model to receive Samsung's December 2024 patch was the Galaxy A55. Here are the innovations that come with the update!

Samsung appears to follow a regional strategy when it comes to updates. The South Korean brand initially releases a new patch in specific countries and then gradually makes it available in other regions. In this context, an update for a popular mid-range Samsung model that was rolled out in a limited region last week is now accessible in more countries.

Last week, Samsung released the December 2024 patch for Galaxy A55 users in select parts of Europe. Now, the update is being expanded to more countries. With the build number A556EXXU6AXL3, the patch is around 300 MB in size and addresses over 45 security vulnerabilities.

If the update notification hasn’t automatically appeared on your device, you can manually upgrade to the new version by following these steps: Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If the update is still unavailable, it might not have reached your region yet, so you may need to wait a little longer.
