Samsung continues to prioritize user security as it counts down to the stable release of One UI 7. The South Korean tech giant has now made the January 2025 update available for two of its popular models. Here are the details!
January 2025 Patch Now Available for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5
The latest models to receive Samsung’s January 2025 update are the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5. The new patch, which is around 400 MB in size, comes with build numbers F731USQS5DXLF and F946USQS5DXLF.

This update addresses over 50 security vulnerabilities for both devices. Currently, the patch is being rolled out to users in the United States, with plans to expand its availability to other regions soon.
If you haven’t received the update notification on your device, you can manually check and install it by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If the update isn’t visible, it might not yet be available in your region, so patience may be required.
