Samsung announced its 32-inch color e-paper display EM32DX model with a quiet launch. This new display, which minimizes energy consumption in the digital signage market, stands out with its environmentally friendly design and technical features. The device, which is based on E Ink technology, can operate for a long time without an electrical connection.

The EM32DX comes with a color E Ink panel offering a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Supported by Samsung’s image processing technology, the display provides an image quality close to printed material. The natural appearance of color transitions and the fact that the display does not consume energy even with long-term image stability are among the prominent features of the device.

The display only consumes energy when the content is updated. With its 4,600 mAh battery capacity, the EM32DX promises up to 200 days of uninterrupted use with this structure. If the content is updated less frequently, this period can be extended to 500 days. Thanks to this feature, the device; It offers long-term use especially for fixed information panels, menu screens and announcement areas.
The screen, which weighs only 2.5 kilograms, also provides an advantage in terms of portability with its 17.9 mm thickness. The panel is designed for both horizontal and vertical use. On the connection side, there are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support as well as two USB-C ports.
Content updates can be made via Samsung’s mobile application and cloud-based management system called VXT. In this way, multiple screens can be controlled remotely at the same time. Recycled materials were used in the production of the EM32DX.
This approach reinforces the environmentally friendly nature of the screen. Samsung has set a price tag of $ 1,200 for its new screen. The device is available at discounted prices of up to $ 1,166 on some retail platforms as well as official sales channels.
