Since his being Twitter’s new owner, he has made a lot of changes and upgrades on the social media platform. Today, CEO of Tesla shared a tweet like threating Apple and other phone manufacturers. Musk claimed that he would produce “an alternative phone” if Twitter is removed from the App Store and Google Play Store. Here are the details.
Tesla Phone may launch if Twitter is removed
Elon Musk is changing a lot of things on the social media platform from the verification checkmarks to banned accounts. However, these changes and Musk’s management may get Twitter into trouble. Musk’s changes in terms of advertising caused some advertisers to see the platform as a high-risk place to promote. Due to these steps, Apple and Google may mark the application as non-reliable and want to remove it.
There have already been rumors about a “Tesla Pi Phone,” but there was no evidence for this device until now. Elon Musk has finally pointed out the Tesla Phone. According to Tesla CEO, the company will launch a new phone if Twitter is removed from Play Store and App Store.
A tweet from Liz Wheeler said, “If Apple & Google boot Twitter from their app stores, @elonmusk should produce his own smartphone. Half the country would happily ditch the biased, snooping iPhone & Android. The man builds rockets to Mars, a silly smartphone should be easy, right?” Elon Musk answered and corrected her by saying, “I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone.”
While it is not easy to launch a phone with an app store even if it is easy to produce a phone for Tesla. Google and Apple will not probably support his phone if he produced it, and the phone will be available without any apps.
