The potential of artificial intelligence to transform government operations is becoming increasingly important. Accordingly, major players in the industry want to increase this power by establishing strategic partnerships. Accordingly, Anthropic Claude 3 and Claude 3.5 artificial intelligence models will be used by US intelligence and defense agencies.
Anthropic Claude 3.5 family coming to US defense units
Anthropic and Palantir have formed a strategic partnership to provide US intelligence and defense agencies access to Claude 3 and Claude 3.5 artificial intelligence models. This collaboration will enable these agencies to use Anthropic’s language models. It will also allow them to leverage Palantir’s Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) hosted in the AWS cloud.
Through this partnership, US intelligence will be able to access Claude models through AWS. Palantir’s AIP platform, which has IL6 accreditation from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), will host Claude models.
“We are proud to bring AI solutions to the classified environments of the United States, increasing analytical capabilities and operational efficiency in vital government operations,” said Kate Earle Jensen, Head of Sales and Partnerships at Anthropic.
This is an important step in the adoption of advanced AI technologies in the public sector. The ability to leverage Claude models will allow government agencies to process large volumes of complex data and identify patterns. This will improve intelligence analysis and streamline resource-intensive missions.
