Vivo is preparing to launch new products in its tablet and smartphone lineup. One of the upcoming devices will be the tablet named Vivo Pad 3. New leaks from China have revealed important technical details of the Pad 3. Accordingly, it will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 rival MediaTek Dimensity 9300.
Vivo Pad 3 may get its power from Dimensity 9300
Dimensity 9300 is the latest flagship chipset developed by MediaTek and built on TSMC’s 4nm architecture. It features a clock speed of up to 3.05GHz, four ARM Cortex-A910 cores and four ARM Cortex-A510 performance cores. In terms of graphics, the octa-core chip is powered by the Mali-G715 MC10 GPU.
Vivo wants to heat up the competition in the tablet market with Pad 3. While the Pad 2 model is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, Pad 3 will go one step further in this regard. Dimensity 9300 has aroused curiosity as it also powers Vivo’s flagship X100 and X100 Pro models.
As a reminder, the Pad 2 uses a 12.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1800 x 2880 pixels. This display offers 144 Hz refresh rate and 600 nits brightness, and it also has HDR10 technology for watching videos with high dynamic range.
There are dual cameras on the back of the tablet. These are a 13 Megapixel ultra wide-angle main camera and a 2 Megapixel macro lens. On the front, there is an 8 Megapixel selfie camera.
The Pad 2 model was introduced earlier this year and the price started at $350. This means that the new model will be unveiled next year.
