WhatsApp, one of the leading messaging applications, is constantly trying to improve itself and provide better service to users. WhatsApp, which has not seen much reaction despite the problem that occurred in one-time photos in the past days, now brings the Event feature, which can already be used in groups, to private chats. Here are the details.
WhatsApp Event feature displayed in beta
WhatsApp has been allowing the creation of events in group chats since June 2024. According to the claims emerging today, the popular messaging application brings the event feature to private chats in the new beta version.

The feature, which can also be used in one-to-one chats, will make it easier to organise an appointment with the person you are talking to. The feature, which is reported as ‘going beyond previous availability in group chats’, helps in scheduling meetings, setting reminders, and coordinating appointments.
While it is not yet clear how much demand the event feature, which has started to be used a lot in group chats, will be in demand in private chats, it will not be used very actively according to expectations. Because when organising an event in a private chat on WhatsApp, it can be done easily during the chat.
This event feature also provides ease of invitation as link links can also be added. For now, the feature that appeared in WABetaInfo is in beta version. It is not yet known when this feature will be released.
