Following Microsoft’s latest update KB5029351, which brings a series of bug fixes, many users are reporting a blue screen error. The error code “UNSUPPORTED_PROCESSOR” appeared on the screen and caused quite a stir.
According to reports on Reddit and other channels, the blue screen error appears mostly on Intel processors with MSI motherboards. It is also noted that the problem may be related to MSI’s recently released BIOS updates.

Microsoft, which noticed the error after the reports of the users, started working quickly and published a statement via the Windows Health Center. The technology giant included the following details in its statement: “We are currently investigating to determine if this issue is caused by Microsoft. We will provide an update when more information is available”.
Some Windows users who encountered the problem reported that they continued to use their computers by reinstalling the old version. This solution may provide some relief to users until an official intervention takes place.
