Windows’ iconic app updated after years!

With Windows 11, the Sticky Notes app has been updated. However, according to the first comments, it gathers great criticism.

Microsoft’s Sticky Notes app for Windows 10 and Windows 11 has been revamped. The first reactions to the OneNote-focused app have been negative. While the updated app offers some new features, it is thought to have lost the features that made the app useful.

The new Sticky Notes are still being tested as part of the Microsoft 365 Insider program. So it’s unclear why it’s being widely distributed before it’s finalized. The revamped version now comes bundled with OneNote. So even if you don’t want OneNote, it’s not possible to use Sticky Notes alone.

Most importantly, the redesigned app was found to run at lower performance than the old version. This defeats its purpose as a simple note-taking tool. The slower interface reduces the appeal of the app for quick note-taking.

oogle has officially pulled the plug on a product used by millions!

Some users also reported that notes disappeared after the update. However, since it is a test version, it is thought that these bugs can be fixed.

In this context, many users have reverted to the previous version of Sticky Notes available for download in the Microsoft Store. This version builds on the old features while also enabling OneNote synchronization across devices.
