“@NonxCirno,” known for leaking information in the industry, shared the AnTuTu v10 score of the upcoming Qualcomm chip. The chip reached an impressive high score of 1,771,106. This early-stage development score may only serve as a reference and may not represent the performance of mass-produced devices. However, it provides a comprehensive look into the potential of Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship chip.
Geekbench 5 scores for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 are also quite impressive. The processor achieved 1,700 in single-core tests and 6,600 in multi-core tests. In Geekbench 6, even higher results are revealed, with the chip scoring 2,200 and 7,000 points respectively. These preliminary scores indicate that the chip is focused on delivering a high-end user experience even in its early stages.
Qualcomm has set the launch date for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 as October 2023. The new processor will make its debut at Qualcomm’s annual Snapdragon Summit. The event is planned to take place in Maui, Hawaii, and will open its doors on October 24-26.
In addition to the announcement date, the new processor seems poised to surprise with its performance. According to the information received, the processor will gain a significant performance boost and feature a Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.7GHz. Changes in the core architecture of the processor are also expected.
The current most up-to-date chip, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, features the Cortex-X3 architecture and operates at 3.2GHz. This means that daily performance will be directly affected. Furthermore, the new processor is expected to follow a 1+5+2 architecture, with one “super-large” core, five “large” cores, and two “small” cores.
