Google continues its efforts to increase its share in the smartphone market. As part of this, the brand is set to introduce the Pixel 9a soon. Previously leaked case images and some technical details have now been followed by real-life images of the device.
How will the Google Pixel 9a look?
Looking at the live images of the Google Pixel 9a, we can say that it will feature a different design approach compared to its predecessors. To elaborate, instead of the horizontal camera bar seen in previous models, the rear panel will feature a pill-shaped camera module positioned in the top left corner.

On the front, there won’t be any significant changes. The smartphone will still offer an industry-leading screen-to-body ratio and come with a punch-hole display design.
According to previous leaks, the device’s 128GB variant will be priced at $499 in the U.S., while the 256GB model will cost $649. This marks a $40 price increase compared to its predecessor, the Pixel 8a. In Europe, the prices will be set at €549 / £499 for the 128GB model and €649 / £599 for the 256GB version.
The Pixel 9a will be powered by the Google Tensor G4 chipset. It will feature 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offer 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage options. The 6.2-inch OLED display will stand out with its 2,700-nit peak brightness and 1,800-nit HDR brightness.
On the camera side, the device will include a 48MP f/1.7 primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13MP Sony IMX712 selfie camera.
The Pixel 9a will be equipped with a 5,100mAh battery that supports 23W wired and 7.5W wireless charging. For security, it will feature the Titan M2 chip for data protection and secure boot operations. Additionally, IP68 certification will ensure resistance to water and dust.
The device will be available for pre-order on March 19, 2025, and officially launch on March 26, 2025. Furthermore, it will come with three months of Google One (100GB) and YouTube Premium, along with six months of Fitbit Premium.
