Ahead of Apple’s highly anticipated event, new claims have emerged from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. According to Kuo, the AirPods Pro 3 wireless earbuds will be unveiled at the event on September 9th. Kuo suggests that the AirPods Pro 4 will arrive in September 2026 and will feature infrared cameras. These cameras will reportedly function as sensors, not for photography, and will offer a more advanced spatial audio experience in conjunction with the Apple Vision Pro headset.
AirPods Pro with Camera Arriving in 2026
Rumors suggest that the AirPods Pro 3 will be equipped with two new sensors capable of measuring heart rate and temperature. This move is seen as part of Apple’s plans to transform the AirPods into a health device.

The charging case will also be slightly smaller than the AirPods Pro 2 and will feature a capacitive button. The pairing button on the back of the AirPods Pro 2 will be moved to the front on the new model. A software update for the device is expected to add real-time translation.
Meanwhile, new information continues to emerge regarding the iPhone 17 family, which is expected to consist of four different models. According to a China-based source, the top-of-the-line iPhone 17 Pro Max may have one of the best telephoto cameras on the market.
Previous leaks indicated that both the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will feature new 48-megapixel telephoto cameras. Apple is expected to increase the optical zoom level from 5x to 8x in the new family.
It is also claimed that the iPhone 17 Pro Max may feature a variable periscope telephoto camera, allowing for optical zoom between 5x and 8x.
