New technical details about Apple’s foldable iPhone model are becoming clearer. According to the latest information, Apple plans to use under-screen camera technology in this model. This move could revolutionise the smartphone industry.
Foldable iPhone will feature an under-display camera
The internal screen of the device will be 7.76 inches in size and 2712 x 1920 pixel resolution. There will be a front camera under this screen and there will be no notch or camera hole. The outer screen will have a 5.49-inch panel and a classic camera hole will be used on this screen.

Apple patented an under-screen camera system in 2021, and in 2023, information emerged that it was working on this technology. However, this technology is still not widespread throughout the industry. Manufacturers are cautious due to the decrease in camera quality.
The presence of a camera hole on the outer screen of the new foldable iPhone indicates that Apple has abandoned the Face ID system on this device. The company will use a power key integrated fingerprint reader or an under-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
On the design side, it is stated that Apple will prefer the more compact, short and wide form factor seen in Oppo Find N2 instead of the long and narrow structure of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series. This structure will be more advantageous in terms of one-handed use.
The foldable iPhone is expected to be introduced towards the last quarter of 2026 and is expected to be available with a price tag of over $ 2000. So what do you think about this issue? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
