Samsung introduced its latest S series devices at the event held in January, alongside unveiling a new artificial intelligence system called Galaxy AI. Here are the devices that will receive Galaxy AI features soon
Reports surfaced about a week ago indicating that Samsung would roll out Galaxy S24 and One UI 6.1 features to older Galaxy devices. According to images shared by reliable sources, Samsung will not apply the “May not be available on previous-generation models” option under AI features to its latest foldable phones and the S23 series.
As seen in the shared images, the Galaxy Z Fold5 hosts the same menu and artificial intelligence features found in the S24 under the Advanced Features menu. Additionally, we can observe that Samsung has added an explanation for the Circle to Search feature.
The company aims to reach more than 100 million users with Galaxy AI features by 2024, according to official announcements. It has been stated that the One UI 6.1 update will be rolled out to more devices towards the end of March. Now, we can be sure that the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold5, and Galaxy Z Flip5 models will also receive the latest Galaxy AI features.
However, it is not expected for the Galaxy S23 FE to receive the features of the S24 series. The S23 FE, which features the Exynos and Snapdragon processors used in the Galaxy S22 series, may be the only S23 model not to receive AI features due to its weaker chipset.
Here are the devices expected to receive the Galaxy One UI 6.1 update:
- Galaxy S23
- Galaxy S23+
- Galaxy S23 Ultra
- Galaxy S23 FE
- Galaxy Z Flip 5
- Galaxy Z Fold 5
- Galaxy Tab S9
- Galaxy Tab S9+
- Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra
While the One UI 6.1 update is expected to roll out to some models by the end of this month, it will likely be expanded to more models in April. What are your thoughts on Galaxy AI devices and features? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments.
