Nvidia has officially shared the release date and price information for the GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card. According to the latest information, the RTX 5060 will be released on May 19, 2025. Sales will begin on the same day and the review embargo on the product will also be lifted.
The release date of the GeForce RTX 5060 has been shared
Based on the new generation Ada Lovelace architecture, the GeForce RTX 5060 uses the GB206 GPU. The card has a total of 3,840 CUDA cores. This number means 25% more cores than the previous generation RTX 4060 model.

There will be no major changes on the memory side. The RTX 5060 is equipped with 8 GB memory and a 128-bit memory bus, just like its predecessor. However, the transition to GDDR7 memory in this model and the use of the PCIe 5.0 interface offer a limited improvement, especially in bandwidth and data transfer speeds.
Nvidia will sell the GeForce RTX 5060 for a price tag of $299. This price will be exactly the same as the RTX 4060 when it was released. On paper, the card has modest improvements over the RTX 4060. The most striking difference will be revealed in games with Multi-Frame Generation support, which is provided by DLSS 4.0 technology.
On the other hand, the competition on the AMD side continues unabated. AMD’s new model, the Radeon RX 9060 XT, is also expected to be introduced before the Computex event. So what do you think about this? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
