OnePlus Open might be on sale on October 27
Although there are no official details about the sale date of the expected device, the latest leaks by Abhishek Yadav, OnePlus will make its first foldable phone available on October 27, which is about a week later than the launch event that will be held on October 19. Additionally, the leaks reveal the Indian price of the device, and the OnePlus Open is expected to cost Rs. 139,999 ($1,680) in India.
When we look at the expected price, we can say that the upcoming foldable phone will have flagship specifications, and it will be a competitor to other foldables, including Galaxy Z Fold5, and more. Also, the Open will likely be available in faux leather black and glass back green, green, and gold color options.
The leaks reveal that the OnePlus Open will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, but we would expect the phone to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 which will launch soon. Moreover, it will feature a 7.8-inch 2K Inner AMOLED display and a 6.31-inch outer AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
OnePlus’ first foldable will have a 48-megapixel main, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 64-megapixel periscope camera on the back, while it has a 32-megapixel and 20-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Also, OnePlus Open will be offered in 16GB + 256GB version in India.
