Xiaomi is set to release HyperOS 3.0, which is based on Android 16, around September. The new update will introduce numerous system-wide changes and a range of new features to enhance the user experience. As with previous updates, the rollout will not be a one-time event but will be distributed in phases.
First Devices to Receive HyperOS 3.0
While the official distribution schedule has not yet been announced by Xiaomi, a list shared by Xiaomi Time provides an idea of which models will be the first to get the update.

The devices expected to receive HyperOS 3.0 first are:
- Xiaomi 15
- Xiaomi 15 Pro
- Xiaomi 15 Ultra
- Xiaomi 15T Pro
- Xiaomi 14T Pro
- Redmi K80 Ultra
- Redmi K70 Ultra
The upcoming Xiaomi 16 and 16 Pro, which are scheduled for release later this year, are expected to launch with the Android 16-based HyperOS 3.0 pre-installed.
As stated, Xiaomi’s typical strategy is to begin distributing HyperOS updates to its newest flagship smartphones before gradually moving on to older flagship models and mid-range devices. It appears that budget-friendly devices will have to wait a while longer to receive the update.
